When Jackson and Clare were little and I was in my 30s, I would drink this smoothie almost every day for breakfast while driving the kids to school. This is what gave me the energy (and patience) to survive the 20-minute carpool line, get some work done, start laundry, go for a run and then pick them up again. Whewβ I'm tired just reliving it! Now, I'm in my 40s (and my kids are teenagers!) and use smoothies as meal replacements to manage my weight, boost my energy levels, get nutrients in and recover from workouts. I love to run (not fast, but far).
